Onboarding and adaptation aim to reduce the time employees need to be productive in their new workplace.
Research shows that effective onboarding programs increase productivity by 70% in the first six months. They allow you to achieve higher levels of employee engagement, teamwork, higher productivity, and lower layoffs.
Imagine how the onboarding and adaptation processes work now. What kind of feedback would your new hires share with you? What experience and knowledge will newbies have when they complete their introductory journey? Regular feedback from employees and understanding how they evaluate their first experience will provide many useful insights that you can turn into improvements.
